By Meniscense
Interferometric Volume Measurement in Microplates
Low-coherence interferometry presented as a nondestructive, noncontact method for measuring liquid volumes and fill heights in microplates. Reports a fill height resolution of 0.7 µm, corresponding to a volume resolution of 0.02 µL in a 96-well plate, with gravimetric verification of aliquots between 50 and 350 µL.
Independent review
Guide to liquid volume measurements: a review of methods and technologies
A survey of liquid volume measurement methods available to life science laboratories, covering gravimetry, photometry, ultrasonics and interferometry. VolumeSense is included among the methods reviewed. Not written by or commissioned by Meniscense.
